The following stages of action against misconduct by students will be undertaken depending on the degree and frequency of the offence. Generally the progression will be from one stage to another, however, on account of very serious or gross misconduct, direct application of stage 2 or 3 may be undertaken. Detention from class for sometime, half day or full day may be undertaken.
STAGE 1 : INTIMATION OF MISCONDUCT TO THE PARENTS
A yellow card denotes two very serious reminders or warnings for gross misconduct followed by conditional grant of pardon. The child may be detained for a day. If the misbehaviour is not corrected, it may lead to direct suspension from school, with immediate effect.
YELLOW CARD - FIRST WARNING
YELLOW CARD - SECOND WARNING
STAGE 2 : ISSUE OF RED CARD OR SUSPENSION
On recurrence of erratic misconduct even after repeated warnings through the Yellow Card, the student will be suspended from the school. Disciplinary action against the student will follow. In case of outrageous misconduct and suspension twice from school, the student will be seen as a misfit for the school environment and may be required to be withdrawn from the school.
